Augusta Street Dental welcomes you to our facility where you will be greeted by a friendly team of professionals who truly care about you and your smile. We offer family and cosmetic dentistry, everything from a simple checkup and cleaning to dental implants.

Dr Ajit Vargis – Dentist
Dr. Vargis is a believer in his faith and is a 1996 graduate of New York University School of Dentistry and has been in practice since 1998 in the province of Ontario. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and the Ontario Dental Association and the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry.
Dr. Vargis attends many continuing education courses learning new trends in dentistry. He is one of the few dentists to provide treatments using CEREC ( computer enhanced CAD /CAM restorations, single visit restorations/crowns/veneers) technology since 2005. Full smile makeover in one day by providing veneers and crowns utilizing CEREC technology.
He has been trained in London, Ontario and Portugal for implant surgery and has many satisfied implant patients. He is a believer in placing implants before wearing complete dentures. Dr. Vargis is a provider of Invisalign (clear braces treatment) and has many patients have even more beautiful smiles.

Nancy – Patient coordinator
Nancy has been with the practice for over 15 years and her calm demeanour and the confidence in her abilities is known to all who meet her. A warm heart that silently listens to every patient and is willing and able to help in any questions you may have. Nancy with her family lives on Hamilton Mountain.
Lisa – Reception/Accounts
Lisa has been with the practice for more than 20 years and has a kind heart and contagious smile. Her knowledge of our practice and the inner workings of dental insurance companies and financial arrangements will put you to ease if you are stressing out over your appointment or insurance or financial issues. Lisa with her family lives in Stoney Creek.

Sheila – Hygienist
Sheila was an assistant with our practice first and then went back to school to graduate as a dental hygienist. She has been a dental hygienist with our team for more than 18 years. Sheila’s knowledge and her meticulous work is evident in the many patients who repeatedly ask to have their appointments repeated with her. Sheila lives with her family on the Hamilton Mountain
Pam – Dental Assistant
Pam is new to our practice but comes with over 20 years experience as a dental Assistant. Her calm attitude and infectious laugh along with her knowledge will be an asset to our practice. Pam lives with her family in Grimsby and so we are blessed to have her in our team.
Our Dental hygiene team is the best maybe I am a bit biased but truly blessed to have them in our treatment team.
Sheal – Hygienist
Sheal is the always smiling bubbly dental hygienist in our team. With over 5 years experience as a dental hygienist she has been a part of our team for over 4 years. Confident in her abilities and a loving heart for all is loved by all who have had the chance to see her. Sheal with her family lives on the Hamilton Mountain.
